Our vision
To gather all the farmers under one umbrella to achieve the goal of doubling the farmers'
income.
Our goal
To build the capacity for running smooth operations and a supply chain for providing a
market for farmers’ produce.
What we are offering
We are the face of the farmers of Uttarakhand. The PMFME Store provides a platform to all
small and marginal farmers who sell their brand of products under this scheme.
Our goal is to elevate the economic status of farmers who produce natural and quality
products locally but fail to sell them for a justifiable price in the market. Our store also
promotes various rare and indigenous products.
Our story
Our founder Mr Goyal has always loved the soothing and natural surroundings of
Uttarakhand. He and his wife love to travel across the lovely hills of Kumaon and explore the
spectacular Garhwal region. It is their love for Uttarakhand and its local people that paved the
way for The PMFME Store.
The quest for The PMFME Store started with an intriguing incident. Once, Mr. & Mrs Goyal
visited a famous store for grocery shopping in Dehradun. But while buying things, Mr Goyal
noticed that a fruit jam was priced at ₹720. Curiosity got the best of him; he purchased the
product to check its quality. To his surprise, the jam tasted similar to a local jam product sold
by a farmer that Mr Goyal used to purchase.
He asked around about the local jam product and came to know about the farmer who used to
produce fruit jam locally. He met the farmer and talked about the incident. The farmer told
him that he supplies his product to famous store brands across Dehradun at a minimum price.
While talking to the farmer, Mr Goyal learned his pain points. More research concluded that
similar was the story of the other farmers who were exploited by famous stores and not
offered reasonable prices for their natural and pure products.
While interacting with these local farmers/producers, Mr Goyal realised that these local
producers must get a fair production cost. The local producers and farmers required a
platform to sell their products at a reasonable price.
Mr Goyal was struck by the fact that these farmers earn so little even after putting in their all.
Neither the farmers had the bargaining power nor could they decide the price of their
products.
This incident inspired Mr Goyal to help these farmers by providing them with a platform
called The PMFME Store in collaboration with the state government of Uttarakhand. At The
PMFME Store, farmers can showcase/sell their local brand products and earn 75% of each
sale. These local producers/farmers collaborate with The PMFME Store and can decide the
way they want to sell their products.
The PMFME Store has been giving these local producers/farmers a platform for the past 9
months now. We are the voice of these local farmers and producers who deserve our attention
and care.
